1st draft - Radio Trailer

Univeristy tuition fees have been increasing rapidly over the last decade, universities may now have the juristiction to charge up to £9,000 per year commencing in 2012 in the new opposed education reform policies.The arguement now is whether universities are still worth attending. Andrew Rosindell, the MP for Romford talks about university attendance " There has to be strict rules about who can go and who can'y go, alot of young people ae going to university and not really taking it seriously"

As an alternative apprenticeships are now on the rise, there are now more than 190 different types of apprenticeships ranging from mechanics to textiles. Starbuck Coleman, an education officer, dicusses alternative routes. " Vocation, vocation, you can call it that, apprenticeships, we are desparate for this skill"

The education treadmill is a dicumentary which explores the tradional views on the university route and whether it still hols the sociol stigma as it has i previous years or whether vocational studies is becoming a more popular route to take.
